Hey Scott----Ya....HOOOOOO!Get that puppy. You'll LOVE it.Fairly simple install...may have to remove those cable adjuster thingies(the "locks").The plastic ones.I did...then run your throttle cable(s) all the way to the stop(lengthen).Grind off the small "stop" step in the metal housing at the grip. That's it.Awesome mod for the big birds.
I've had mine on there now for well over a year...no probs at all.Contrary to "popular belief"...it will NOT make your rocket "go KooKoo when you throttle up".It will however give you a smile and more control over your power.

I had it on mine...But after the BST rims and other light weight mods it way too much. There is more fine tune ability with stock set up. But with the without my new mods I loved it! Good luck...ride fast but safe...

Does this shorten the throttle pull? If so how would that give you more control? I have heard of these in the past but was never interested. However, now with this bike, my throttle can be soooo touchy I am interested in something that would smooth it out a bit. I'm not guessing this is the way this works, right?

I imagine as long as the cable housing is the same design, you won't have any problems.I had to remove my two "cable locks" (the black plastic deals for adjusting).I cut em off(only way I could do it?)Just don't cut into the cable when ya go to cut those out(IF you have to).The 1/5th mod will I believe make your cables "shorter".Not by much. You'll see.You aren't gonna have much play left. But it still will be enough.Just make darn sure she's closing all the way...you can always rotate the housing some to get em to fit(if you remove the plastic nub on the housing that fits into the clipon).Grind off that throttle tube nub(the "stop") inside the housing(metal). There are complete instructions on one of the websites...can't remember now what site it was.You can google it...it had pics with it.May have even been DoubleZ's site...not sure.Good luck with that Scott..yer gonna really like the mod!
